What a big girl!
The entire family survived the first full week of being working parents (Audrey survived the best of all of us of course...). Next week is a VERY busy week with Back to School Night, the Football Kickoff dinner, and a trip to take Tober to the vet. Scott and I went to bed at 9:00 just to catch up so we could start the week prepared.
Scott starts his 2nd job with the Bronco's this evening. He's so excited, and I'm excited for him to be working with a professional team. He's in charge of the "Quote Team", which I hope to know more about once he's done it a few times. All I really know is he's been recording our morning conversations getting his recorder ready for interviews :)
I have to say I'm in much better spirits this morning, as I write this post, than I was, say, 24 hours ago. Sleep deprivation and working non-stop while dropping your daughter off at daycare can really knock a person out! The experienced teacher in me knows that this non-stop working period only lasts 2, MAYBE 3 weeks. After that things start to roll right along. That being said, it's always amazing how exhausting the first few weeks of school are!
As for now, I'm going to enjoy a restful and WONDERFUL Saturday :)
Standing up with a little help from mom.
Sitting in the doll-sized rocking chair that Grandma had in the basement. Such a cute prop!
